Born in Germany, Jutta Neumann began designing and hand building leather goods after moving to New York from Paris in the mid-1980s. For more than six years she assisted a venerated New York leather artisan. Jutta opened her own studio and storefront in the East Village in New York City in 1994.

Since then, her work designing and handcrafting sandals, handbags and shoulder bags, wristbands, belts, and accessories has been well received by designers and the general public alike. In 2001 she added a jewelery line combining leather with sterling silver.

Jutta's work is featured regularly in Vogue, Elle, Marie-Claire, Mademoiselle, Self, W and other national and international publications.

Everything that Jutta produces is made entirely in New York City by Jutta and her employees.
