The BC-FTR-RCH BRASS CATCHER is designed to work on Picatinny flat top with a Removable Carry Handle installed. Our Brass Catcher & Bag will also adapt to the Picatinny Flat Top Receiver and the M-16 Receiver with Built in Handle (please see our other listings) by replacing the spring clips with the proper clips for the intended upper receiver. Made in USA Each unit includes: ~ Professionally injection molded chute ~ 3-rubberized spring steel clips (hand fabricated) (2-required) ~ Custom hand stitched collection bag with cord and cord lock ~The entire unit weighs in at just over 2-1/2 ounces Clips snap over the lower portion of the Removable Carry Handle while supporting the resin chute along with the quick connect bag. Emptying bag by removing the entire unit or detach the bag from the casting by compressing the release toggle. The custom hand sewn bag attaches to the semi flexible/abrasive resistant chute with the sewn in para-cord and cord lock. There are no zippers to fuss with or break. The bag holds over (1 lb. 3oz.) but we don't suggest pushing it to that point. If an overloaded bag slips off, the brass will be contained or found in close by. The heavy canvas weight bag hangs in front of but doesn't interfere with the trigger finger placement. Although part of the magazine release button is obscured by the bag and casting, finding and depressing the button with the trigger finger is not an issue. The ejection port cover opens as normal, while closing it requires removing the bag or the complete unit. We hand bend the clips on jigs, heat treat and rubberize them in our on-site shop along with hand making our custom bags from start to finish.
