Found at a really charming local estate these handmade rugs are woven in a method called Twining or Twined and looks like braids sewed together in a rectangular shape. These are made of cotton rags and are well-loved and well-worn but also really charming and seem straight out of an English cottage. genuine vintage made by an Arkansas woman c. 1940s or 50s. There are 4 rugs that are basically this size 20 inches wide and 50 inches long. (a smaller rug in the pictures is listed separately) Two of them have an obvious loss in the middle and two of them are basically intact. The two that are intact are shown in the first photo with just two rugs in it and the second photo shows the rugs with a missing piece. They are priced accordingly. These are just multi-color cotton rags, not entirely consistent in the weight of the colors You could easily put the four rugs together to create a single area rug. These rugs came from a smoke free, pet free house and are not stained or smelly. My cat Sage insists on sitting on anything I put on the floor but that is the only contact with the cat the rugs have had.
