This vintage Chelsea 8-Day Wind Ship’s Bell Clock is a robust clock that resonates with the rich sound of the traditional ship’s bell, striking every half hour on the naval watch 8-bell system.
The handcrafted Chelsea Boston 132-071 11-jewel, key wound movement (with bell silencer) is made in West Germany in 1980, housed in a solid forged 7.5" brass case that is hand-polished and protected with a nano ceramic wax. Hand silvered 6" dial.
Resting in a black wooden stand.
This is one of the finest movements ever made for a ship clock. It has been cleaned and serviced and is in pristine condition.
